The Royals were rained out for the second straight night, as even more precipitation hit Kansas City. Thankfully, there was no widespread flooding like there had been the previous night. But the rain and a subsequent power outage at Royals Stadium meant no baseball. As a result, the Royals’ four-game series against Oakland was now going to be played in two days; back-to-back doubleheaders were on tap.
